Who am I?

Krishna completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from North Gujarat University, India in 2005 following her graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Wright State University Dayton, OH in 2008. During her graduate school she learned image processing techniques for various imaging modalities. She joined the Cognition, Brain Imaging, Behavior Research and Allelic Variation Laboratory (COBBRA Lab) at Olin Neuropsychiatry research center as a clinical data analyst in April 2010. Krishna is interested in exploring structural and functional brain patterns in substance dependents, nicotine dependents and alcohol dependents under the mentorship of Dr. Godfrey Pearlson.

  • Measure of reward circuit deficits due to substance abuse using an event related fMRI.

  • Influence of reward related impulsivity and compulsivity measures on reward circuitry in substance abuse

  • Default mode network activity alterations in nicotine dependents with APOE4 allele
